To become a registered Play Therapist/Supervisor, you must satisfy the requirements set by the Association for Play Therapy. In general, you must be licensed/certified by your state to engage in mental health practice, hold a masters degree or higher in mental health, complete various coursework, and satisfy a number of supervised clinical experience hours.
